Greetings from Base Leaders
Terry & Donna Keith- Base Leaders Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our website. We hope that this website helps you get to know about us and what we are doing at YWAM Heredia. Our history in Costa Rica goes back to 1974 when we moved down here to pioneer a ranch in the southern jungles. We have lived and worked (off and on) in Costa Rica for the last 32 years and have always considered it our second home. In 1985 God asked us to sell our ranch and move to Miami, Florida to join Youth With A Mission. From the beginning, it was always our desire to develop a YWAM ministry in Costa Rica to prepare and send Costa Rican young people into world missions. In the late eighties my wife and I began to bring short term teams down here to work. In 1990 the first operating location was opened up in Birri which is not far from the present location of the base. In 1994 the base moved to San Rafael, but, in 1998 they relocated to Los Angeles where we are today.
