Both of us are Costa Ricans.  In the year 1993 we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior as a family, (with four small children between 10 and 3 years old (from the oldest to youngest).  At that time we were assisting the church called "El Centro Cristiano of San Jose" in the city of Tibas.  Years later, the Lord began to stir us up and give words to our family that we were called to take his salvation and Good News to the nations, serving with our gifts and talents.  In January 2006 our oldest daughter Cinthia entered the YWAM school in Heredia to do her DTS.  Two months later the rest of our family came to serve on the base.

We served on base as "long-term" Mission Builders until we did our DTS in September of 2006 here in Heredia.  Our outreach went to Bocas del Toro in Panama, and then to Kenya, Africa.  Actually, only our youngest son hasn't done his DTS, but he is preparing to do it in Cordoba, Argentina beginning the middle of April this year.

In September of 2007, we both began the EARS school together.  I, was able to finish, but my wife Yamileth had to postpone this training for health reasons. 

We have worked as staff on the base in wherever the need is, but especially in administration, logistics, praise and worship, and many other areas. 

Yami really enjoys handcrafts, painting, reading, working with agricultural aspects as in; the preparation of fertilizers, organic pesticides & fungus controls, planting ornamental plants, fruit trees, gardening, collections of cactus, along with cooking and sharing a cup of coffee with friends.

I enjoy music, playing guitar, singing, reading, fishing, cooking, going out with our friends and sharing with them.

The main interest and vision of our family is to be able to go where God calls us and take His Word, salvation and love to others . . . that the nations learn to praise and worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
