SCHOOLS - Discipleship Training 

Sept 2008 DTS

The first DTS was started in September of 1991 with 8 students. Since then there have been 320 students that have done their DTS here from many different countries. Over the years we have ministered in 5 continents and 26 nations. The last DTS did their outreach in the Amazon and the current school is planning to go to Nicaragua, Panama and Tanzania.

We run two DTS's a year - January and September. The lecture phase is for a period of (3) three months followed by a two to three month outreach. This is the required time for all DTS's. All of our schools are bilingual - English and Spanish. Each school includes outdoor adventures and environmental education. Please contact us to find out the costs of the school.

Environment and Resource Stewardship (EARS)

We successfully ran our first EARS school beginning September 2007 and just graduated our first six students. This past school did their outreach with the Maasai in Loita Hills, Kenya with YWAM'er Andre Brink who has been working with them for several years. Some of the techniques they learned, they were able to demonstrate and use, along with teaching First Aid and helping in the construction of a camp for the Maasai there.

Our base has a creation care focus and our base theme is "Knowing God and Caring For His Creation." We try to practice what we teach, so we recycle, and we use our food scraps to create compost to fertilize flower and garden areas. We raise chickens and goats, which produce eggs and milk for our use. Our goal is to train missionaries in sustainable agriculture and appropriate technology which will help them meet the needs of the poor and hungry all over the world.

Intercession, Worship & Spiritual Warfare 

We feel God has called us to begin this school here in Costa Rica. It is not offered anywhere in Central America yet and we feel it is vital for transformation of the nations. This school will be offered bilingual, English and Spanish. Don't miss this opportunity to be involved! - - (scheduled to begin September 17 of 2009). School of Biblical Studies 

We have had to postpone the SBS, it is now projected for January of 2010.  At this time we are planning to offer this school in English and Spanish.  This is an intense 9-month school for serious students of the Bible.  Please contact us if you are interested in this course.
