This month I would like to tell you all about our oldest staff member. Not oldest in years because she is only 32, but because she has been with us the longest. Taja came to Costa Rica from Hawaii in 1997 while doing her DTS. From the very beginning she felt a call for the Lord to work here and that is what she has done for the past 12 years. Over the years she has served in various capacities but primarily as a DTS school leader. She is very capable and efficient which has made her a blessing to the ministry. A few years ago we asked her to serve as part of our base council. Her wisdom and advice have helped us make decisions as we try to be obedient to what God has called us to do. The only thing missing in Taja’s life was a good man. Well God heard her prayers and ours and sent a fine young man named Benjamin. He came to work at the base as a Mission Builder for three months and during that time they fell in love. They will be getting married on the 12th of June. We are very happy for them and pray that God will use them as a couple as they serve together.
